Q – Do my balances change when I make Basic Payroll Payments?

A – When you make basic payroll payments your balances will change on the Account Debit Date, which is two Bank Business Days before the Employee Pay Date.  In case an Employee Pay date falls on a bank holiday, the date will be automatically adjusted crediting the employee’s account on the antecedent bank business day.

Q – How do I stop a Basic Payroll Payment after the Account Debit Date cutoff?

A – Payment reversal request can be made after a certain cutoff time set by the service providing company on the Account Debit Date or up to 5 Bank Business days after Employee Pay date.

Q – What do I do if I get a message that a Basic Payroll Payment I’ve made has been returned?

A – There are certain contexts this can happen. In such cases if you want a follow up all you have to do is to note down the reason of the return and then contact your payroll service provider. It will be taken care of by them.
